Jerry grew up on the South Side of Chicago in a working-class neighborhood. With his dad working as a Chicago cop, and mom working as a hair stylist, he learned quickly the need for hard work and perseverance if you are going to live the American dream. Through hard work and perseverance, he was able to build a successful career in corporate America. To the casual observer, it would have appeared that Jerry had achieved the American dream… A beautiful family, home ownership and a successful career. However, Jerry couldn’t shake the fact that something was off in his life.
Jerry had a very personal encounter with God and it was at this time that he realized something was terribly wrong with the world that we lived in. He surrendered his life to Christ and enrolled in seminary. His once promising career was derailed by God. And he couldn’t be more glad! Jerry now spends his time applying his gifts and experiences to guide Christian business leaders to live the life that God has called them to.
